May 17th Community Update: The Next Layer

It’s a new dawn…

It’s a new day… it’s a new life here at Ethernity!

Hey everyone! Who else is feeling good right now? I know I am! And so is the rest of the team here at Ethernity.

We live in a bold world that demands bold action.

This past week we revealed something we’ve been working on for the past year, and are now on the cusps of unleashing to the global crypto community in a matter of months: our new layer 2 protocol named Ethernity Chain!
With this new initiative, we will enable freedom across the entire entertainment industry.

Starting with the freedom to access lightning-fast delivery speeds. And the freedom of near costless transactions that currently presents a barrier to entry for many entertainment brands and their fans. And also the freedom of our AI-powered DRM (Digital Rights Management) protocol which is a game-changer for IP protection on-chain.

Now let’s talk about our new site.

Take a look around to familiarize yourself with newly designed website. The bold violet colors serve as undertones for our new direction and continued role as leaders of innovation in the Web3 space.

After you’re done with that, look up above where you will find easy access to our whitepaper–which details the purpose of our recently announced Layer 2 protocol, which we’ve built from the ground up to address the needs of the massive entertainment industry. And just in case you weren’t aware of how big the global media and entertainment industry is, it is valued at $2.32 trillion.

And let’s face it, the current Web3 infrastructure isn’t designed to address the needs of the Web2 space. So all we want to do here is provide the industry with a plug-and-play blockchain solution that is familiar and easy to use—similar to how it is in the Web2 space. And since no one else has made it happen, we decided that we are well-suited for the job!

And we couldn’t be happier to bring you, our loyal $ERN holders, along for the journey. Let’s release the Web2 space from the chains that the early incarnations of web3 shackeled it with: let’s take it to the next layer!
